| 321 | 十一月，陞陝撫丁啟睿總督陝西三邊、山西、河南軍務。河南巡撫李仙風率諸降高謙、李建武擊河北賊于菜園，斬首一千三百餘級。 |
《第七十八卷李自成之亂》
| 27 | 戊午，自成合群盜圍開封。開封城為宋汴京，金完顏亮益加增築，土堅厚五丈。賊以洞車數百，障壯士，多具犁鋤斧鐝，環傳城，鑿而穴之，七晝夜不息，鑿之深者四丈有奇。巡按高名衡率司道官嬰城固守，賊兵礮及城中，殺傷相繼。軍餉告匱，周王恭枵出庫金五十萬買米麥，日夜飯屑麥餉守陴者。復懸金募死士，能擊死一賊者，予五十金。兵民踴躍共擊賊，斃者甚眾。賊懼，退數舍。李仙風督諸將高謙等馳至開封，陳永福逼城而戰，一日三捷。賊退，開封解嚴。仙風與高名衡互相訐奏，詔逮仙風，仙風聞之自縊，遂以高名衡巡撫河南。 |
