1  | 浙江巡撫劉片奏：查嘉興縣縣丞龔振麟，於道光二十年六月，調赴寧波軍營差委，因素有巧思，在營製造輪船。前欽差大臣裕謙，令督製軍營一切器械，迨九月間。臣複令在省局監工，凡軍器中一切應用機括之物，皆係該員督率指示。如鑄造炮位向須合土為模，再行範金傾鑄，而土模非月餘不能幹燥，極為費手，上年冬問，雨雪連綿，模不能幹，以致炮不能鑄。該員冥心苦索，創為鐵模，試用與土模無異，仍可源源熔鑄，且事簡功倍，所省工費尤多，不特內地工匠等所未知，並為西洋夷法所未有，其運施之靈，用心之細，實屬不可多得。現在揚威將軍，已照會臣將該員先行記功，以示鼓勵。茲查出該員監造鳥槍，亦有不能合用，功罪不能相掩，是以臣聲請一並交議。但其在局數月監造之器，不計其數，且多靈巧堅固，洵屬勞績懋著，即鳥槍之震落門盤，露有沙眼，亦因多加火藥之故。況僅止四杆，為數無多，可否將該員應得處分，俯予寬免，奉旨準行。 |
