唐主避周諱，更名景。避周信祖諱也。更，工衡翻。下令去帝號，稱國主，凡天子儀制皆有降損，去年號，用周正朔，去，羌呂翻。《考異》曰：《世宗實錄》、薛《史》，顯德二年乙卯十一月伐淮南；唐之保大十三年也。三年正月、四年二月、十月三幸淮南。五年戊午三月，江北平，唐之交泰元年也。而《江南錄》誤以保大十五年事合十四年。十五年丁巳改交泰，五月去帝號，明年乃顯德五年，又明年卽建隆元年，中間實少顯德六年。《江南錄》最為差誤，其記李昇復姓，亦先一年。他事倣此，不可考按。故世宗取淮南年月，專以《實錄》及薛《史》為據。仍告于太廟。左僕射、同平章事馮延己罷為太子太傅，門下侍郎、同平章事嚴續罷為少傅，樞密使、兵部侍郎陳覺罷守本官。
