34  | 石勒字世龍，初名㔨，上黨武鄉羯人也。其先匈奴別部羌渠之胄。祖耶弈于，父周曷朱，並為部落小帥。勒壯健有膽力，雄武好騎射。曷朱性兇粗，不為群胡所附，每使勒代己督攝，部胡愛信之。大安中，並州饑亂，勒與群胡俱為人所掠賣，勒遭賣與茌平人師權為奴。後遂為群盜。陽平人公師藩起兵趙、魏，自稱將軍。勒與汲桑率數百騎赴之。藩拜勒為前隊督。藩既誅，桑自號成都王，以勒為前驅，屢有戰功，署為掃虜將軍，封侯。後兵敗，收餘眾奔劉淵。 |
