王宗弼求西川崇韜陽許之。實錄、薛史皆云崇韜以蜀帥許之。按崇韜有識略，豈可興大兵取西川，反以與宗弼乎？此庸人所不為也。盖於時宗弼尚據成都，崇韜恐其悔而違拒，故陽許之以安其意耳。明宗天成元年二月己亥，魏王繼岌至利州，遣任圜等討李紹琛。莊宗實錄：「己亥，繼岌奏康延孝叛，遣任圜追討」。按延孝丁酉叛於劔州，豈得己亥奏報已至洛！舊本：「己亥，魏王至利州，桔柏津使夜來告繼岌言李紹琛令斷浮梁，繼岌署任圜為副招討使，令率七千人騎與都指揮使梁漢顒、監軍李廷安討之」。今從之。
