5  | 撰字子約。熙寧六年進士，歷彭澤令。時括民田，轉運使務苛擾，欲多得匿戶羨田為功。撰持不可，抱牘抗論，且請就劾，并解印綬去。使者度不可屈，從之。時王安禮為部刺史，使者還金陵，言撰所以，期共構撰罪。安禮曰：「縣令敢與部使者爭衡，必介特有守士也。」亟呼吏就使者草奏薦之。元佑三年，議遣使修復小吳河。撰上《復河賦》二篇，言河不可復。通判莫、保二州，官至朝奉大夫。大觀三年卒，年六十七。撰《廣孟子說》，著《養氣》三篇，有《毛詩訓解》二十卷，《孟子講義》十四卷，《文集》五十卷，《史贊論》五卷。子彌遜。纂《福建通志》。 |
| 8 | 夏臻字幾道，福清人。熙寧六年進士。初令仙居，上言青苗之法不便於民。擢權知制誥，直學士院，出知梧州，兼管內勸農事，有惠政。母老告養，以朝請大夫致仕。子之邵、之文，重和元年同榜進士。之邵初為南劍法曹，有平寇功，歷江西提刑，進階通議大夫。之文，累官江西提刑副使，所至有聲。《福建通志》 |
