39  | 乙亥歲春二月壬戌，王師拔金陵關城。三月丁巳，吳越攻我常州，權知州事禹萬誠以城降，誅神衛都指揮使皇甫繼勳。彗出五車，色白，長五尺。夏六月，轉見西方，犯太微，六十日滅。王師及吳越圍潤州，留後劉澄以城降。吳越遂會王師，圍金陵。洪州節度使朱令贇帥勝兵十五萬赴難，旌旗戰艦甚盛，編木為栰，長百餘丈，大艦容千人，令贇所乘艦尤大，擁甲士，建大將旗鼓，將斷采石浮橋。至皖口，與王師遇，傾火油焚北船，適北風反焰自焚，我軍大潰，令贇及戰棹都虞候王暉皆被執。外援既絕，金陵益危蹙。王師百道攻城，晝夜不休，城中米斗萬錢，人病足弱，死者相枕籍。國主兩遣徐鉉等厚貢方物，求緩兵守祭祀，皆不報。冬十一月，白虹貫天，晝晦。乙丑，城陷，將軍咼彥、馬承信，及弟承俊帥壯士數百，力戰而死。勤政殿學士鍾蒨朝服坐於家，亂兵至，舉族就死不去。光政使、右內史侍郎陳喬請死不許，自縊死。國主帥司空、知左右內史事殷崇義等肉袒降於軍門。明年正月辛未，至京師。乙亥，授右千牛衛上將軍，封違命侯。太宗即位，加特進，改封隴西公。太平興國三年六月辛卯殂，年四十二。是日，七夕也，後主蓋以是日生。贈太師，追封吳王，葬洛陽北邙山。 |
