「אם מבקשים סוס, אפשר לשלוח סוס חום או שחור. אם מבקשים סוס לבן, אי אפשר לשלוח סוס חום או שחור. אם נניח שסוס לבן הוא סוס, הרי [בשני המקרים] מבקשים את אותו הדבר, ואותו הדבר שמבקשים הוא סוס לבן שאינו נפרד מסוס. ואם מה שמבקשים [בשני המקרים] אינם דברים נפרדים, הרי זה כאילו סוס חום או שחור גם יתאים וגם לא יתאים, הייתכן כדבר הזה? יתאים ולא יתאים הם הפכים ברורים. כי סוס חום או שחור חד הם, ומתאימים להחזיקם כסוס, אך אינם מתאימים להחזיקם כסוס לבן. הוכחנו כי מה שהוא סוס לבן אינו סוס!」 |
